In the first quarter of 2021, the io games category on Android in the United Kingdom showed varied performance across popular titles. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these mobile games.

Agar.io, published by Miniclip.com, saw a decrease in weekly downloads from 8K in the last week of December to just under 2K by the end of March. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, starting at around 24K and dropping to approximately 14K during the same period. Revenue peaked in mid-January at $1.7K but fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at just under $1K in the last week of March.

Lion Studios' Ancient Battle experienced an initial increase in downloads to 3.5K in mid-January before falling to just over 1.5K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users peaked at 7.7K in the third week of January, with a general decline to 4.3K by March 29th. The game's revenue saw a mid-quarter dip but slightly recovered to $641 in the final week.

Snake Rivals - Fun Snake Game, developed by Supersolid based in the United Kingdom, maintained a relatively stable number of downloads, hovering around 1.5K throughout the quarter. The weekly active users saw a high of 5.9K in early January, with a gradual decline to 4K by the end of March. Revenue for the game saw a mid-quarter peak at $632 but ended the period on a slightly higher note at $474 compared to the beginning of the year.

Addicting Games Inc's Little Big Snake showed a steady number of downloads, with a notable increase to 1.1K in mid-February. Weekly active users rose to 3.3K in the first week of March but slightly decreased to just over 3K by the quarter's end. The game's revenue also saw a peak in early March at $271.

Lastly, Worms Zone .io - Hungry Snake from CASUAL AZUR GAMES had a significant spike in downloads, reaching 9.3K in mid-February, then settling to just over 5.7K by March 29th. Weekly active users hit a high of over 60K in mid-February but saw a decrease to around 51K by the end of the quarter. Revenue showed growth, with a peak of $238 in the last recorded week.
